I'm having a little trouble figuring out my character's abilities, and it occurred to me that perhaps a list of pros and cons for each element would be useful. It would also be useful to have a list of abilities (for each element) that just about anybody can do, what moderately powerful witches can do, and what only the strongest of witches can do.
Did that make sense? ^^;

Thanks. In that case, I'll hold off on that particular part of Raina's profile until the list is up. (If that's okay.)

I wanted to be different, and make my warlock an Earth elemental meaning yes, he brews potions to do most of his damage but I was also wondering if maybe earth elementals could have a certain amount of control over all things nature? Like speak with animals, or control plants, create dirt shields, etc.? y'know, because looking at the list Earth witches/warlocks seemed slightly less appealing than the others and just to balance things out. unless, Earth users are only supposed to be 'kitchen' or potion based then nevermind.

Well, according to the book the Earth users are just that: Kitchen Witches. I don't know WHY she didn't let them be able to do the sort of things you're talking about, but I guess it wouldn't hurt. Sure, go ahead and have powers like that. I mean, this is still based off of Anya's world, but it doesn't have to be exactly like it. =]
